First day of intermittent fasting. I was doing great until 7pm. Now all I want is to sit on the couch and eat candy.
The day isn’t over yet, but my food intake is. I’m hoping this will help me cut the unhealthy between meal snacking habits, and reduce acid reflux in the middle of the night.
An added benefit is that I am better able to track my meals, so I’m not just throwing whatever in the microwave when I feel hungry. Instead I’m planning my meals in advance, so I put a little more effort into keeping them healthy and not Pizza Pops or a Big Mac.
The hours I’m allowing myself to eat between are 11am and 7pm. I don’t usually eat before 11am anyway, so my life isn’t exactly changing that much. It’s just trying to convince myself that I don’t need to eat a bowl of ice cream or a bag of chips after 7pm.
Let’s see if I make it to day seven.
